Montgomery Village Center Update (Photos)

Below you’ll see the latest photos of the Montgomery Village Center redevelopment, as well as the Lidl across the street in the former Montgomery Village Professional Center. We have confirmed that Starbuck’s, La Poteria, and Moe’s Southwest Grill will all be coming to the center later this year.

The walls are up at the site of the upcoming Lidl (19241 Montgomery Village Ave).

New outdoor public dining area and benches in front of 7-11. The new playground in the background is apart of the Li’l Village daycare center.

Former site of Global Market / Giant which will eventually be filled with townhouses.

New retail spaces along the extension of Centerway Road, which will connect to Watkins Mill Road. This is where the new Starbuck’s is expected to be.

La Poteria, a food truck that specializes in Colombian street food, will open their first location later this year. They will be located next to Einstein’s Bagels .

The interior of Big Lots, which is currently closed for expansion/renovations. They are expected to reopen sometime this summer.

Little Island Kitchen, next to Eddie’s Carryout will specialize in Caribbean Cuisine. Construction on the interior began in December.

I am thrilled about this progress in our Village. We have needed this for a long time. The key now is for our community to back them all up and keep them clean and nice. My family is thrilled about the restaurants and Starbucks!!!
