Not Your Average Joe’s in Bethesda Temporarily Closed

Not Your Average Joe’s announced today that they will be temporarily closing several of the chain’s restaurants, including the one located 10400 Old Georgetown Rd in Bethesda.

The Kentlands (Gaithersburg) location will remain open.

Not Your Average Joe’s in Silver Spring closed permanently this past July.

NYAJ’s CEO, and current Poolesville resident, Peter D’Amelio sent out a letter today stating:

“In order to maintain the viability of Not Your Average Joe’s for our guests, staff and partners, we are temporarily closing or “hibernating” our lower volume restaurants.

We are temporarily closing the following locations: Arlington, Burlington, Methuen, Randolph and Bethesda.

We are also reducing the hours of operation at several others.  Please visit us at nyaj.com for the latest updates on hours and details of your local restaurant as well as to order take-out or delivery.

We look forward to re-opening these locations as conditions around the pandemic improve.”
