Tim Britton Officially Appointed as Principal of Sherwood High School
Tim Britton, who has been serving as acting principal at Sherwood this school year, was officially appointed to the position by the Montgomery County Board of Education yesterday.

The Eleanor is Set to Reopen April 1st
The Eleanor, located at 931 Ellsworth Ave in Downtown Silver Spring will be reopening on Thursday, April 1st. The Eleanor is bar/bowling lounge that features casual dining, happy hour, mini bowling and skee ball. It first opened in late February of 2020, less than a month before Covid restrictions were put in place in the county.

The Montgomery County Board of Education approved the appointment of Deputy Superintendent Dr. Monifa B. McKnight as the acting/interim superintendent for MCPS.
Effective June 1, she will serve as acting superintendent and will fully assume the position of interim superintendent July 1.
