A Montgomery County judge sentenced Keith Delcid-Palacios to 45 years in prison for the 2021 shooting death of Martin Nolan and the attempted shooting of another victim in a Silver Spring school parking lot, while his brother, Jeffery Delcid-Palacios, received a 36-day sentence for obstruction of justice. Two employees of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) were charged in connection with making an unauthorized copy of Airports Authority records that appeared to be surveillance video from the airport showing the American Airlines jet colliding with an Army helicopter last week.

Beyond MoCo

Back in October, Baltimore Police arrested 24-year-old John Callis of Baltimore following the brutal assault that was captured in a viral video of the man assaulting two Washington Commanders fans following this past season’s Ravens/Commanders game. The man was arrested, and today he was sentenced.

Montgomery County Police 4th District (4D) officers and specialized teams recently made multiple arrests, recovered stolen vehicles, and closed robbery cases, including the January 30 arrest of a robbery suspect in Wheaton, the January 31 arrest of two suspects linked to a November 2024 robbery, and the recovery of two stolen vehicles near Veirs Mill & Randolph Rd, leading to four arrests and drug seizures.
