The Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring to Require Proof of Vaccination Beginning November 1

by Patrick Herron

The Quarry House Tavern at 8401 Georgia Ave in Silver Spring will begin requiring its guests to show their vaccination cards or a negative COVID-19 test (taken within 48 hours) before entering the restaurant beginning on November 1.

Quarry House posted the following message on their social media accounts on Friday:

“Hey everybody, so we’ve been doing a trial run for a couple weeks to make sure we could manage it, and it worked out pretty well:) So, please note 👉👉 Starting Monday, November 1st, QH is going all vaxx. Please be prepared to show your vaccine card (or photo) or a negative covid test from the past 48 hrs at the door. Y’all know what our space is like–we’re a basement indoor bar without an outdoor option and guests can’t necessarily maintain distance from one another. We want you to feel safe and comfortable coming in to see us, and also provide added protection for our staff who interact with dozens of people every day in the course of their jobs. So pony up those cards, folks!! And thanks in advance for your cooperation! 💉✅
