Shalla Restaurant and Bar Coming to Silver Spring
A new Ethiopian restaurant is coming to Silver Spring. Source of the Spring reports that Shalla Restaurant and Bar will be taking over the former Balagger restaurant space located at 8081 Georgia Ave.
Ballager, also an Ethiopian restaurant, replaced Jackie’s Restaurant & Sidebar back in 2016. A NoVa location is still open.
An opening date has not been announced. The hearing for Shalla’s Class B alcohol permit is scheduled for January 7th.
