Tandoori Nights in Bethesda Permanently Closes

Tandoori Nights, located at 7236 Woodmont Ave in Bethesda, has closed.  The original location at 106 Market St. in Gaithersburg, remains open.

It will be replaced by furniture store Room & Board, according to Bethesda Beat.

Tandoori Nights specializes in North Indian Cuisine and its Gaithersburg location has been a staple in the Kentlands for over 20 years. The Bethesda location location opened back in 2010.

Earlier this month the Gaithersburg location opened Molten Cookies, a virtual pop-up bakery available through online delivery aps.

In July, Tandoori Nights won the TasteMoCo tournament for best Indian cuisine in Montgomery County.
