Wine Harvest to Close Permanently in Park Potomac

Wine Harvest to Close Permanently in Park Potomac

Wine Harvest announced yesterday via social media that it will be closing its Park Potomac location after 11 years.

The Kentlands location closed in the summer of 2019 after 23 years, but we have heard rumors that a concept similar to Wine Harvest may return very close to the old location (under new ownership). We’ll see if those materialize.

Their message to customers can be seen below.

“ATTENTION ALL CUSTOMERS, FRIENDS & FAMILY:

As we are approaching the end of the year, and preparing for the holiday season, The

Wine Harvest

is also coming up on 11years! Over the years, we have had some of the best experiences in our shop. Live music, wine tastings, tons of social events (public and private). We have also had some of the most amazing staff on our team, and still do! We have been very fortunate to be welcomed in to the

Park Potomac

community, and we are grateful for all of it.

While this year has not been easy, we have had to tighten our belts, and find different ways to help each other out and survive with the pandemic. Unfortunately, we have come to a crossroad, where we are sadly announcing that it is time to hang up our corkscrews and bottle openers in January 😭
We would like to thank everyone who has had the chance to shop, and eat and drink with us over the years. We would also like to invite everyone to come by, stock up for their holidays and the winter months before we say goodbye.
Over then next weeks, we will be having daily specials and offer the same top-notch service our amazing team has always provided. While we would love to hug and thank everyone personally, we know it would not be socially-distant thing to do.
Please take a moment to say hello, and goodbye, over the next few weeks. As well as let the team know how much they have been appreciated.
Thank you for amazing tenure in Park Potomac.”
