D.C., along with 17 other cities, has submitted the paperwork to bid to be a host city of the 2026 World Cup.

The World Cup will be shared by Mexico, Canada, and the U.S, as was announced in 2018.  Mexico and Canada are expected to provide about 3 cities each to host various games, while the U.S. is expecting to have 10 different host cities for the 80-match long tournament.  D.C.’s bid names FedEx Field.

BREAKING: Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has enacted an executive order to shut down all bars, restaurants, movie theaters, and gyms across the state at 5pm today (while allowing drive-thru, carry-out, and food delivery service to continue).

Utilities and cable/internet cannot be turned off at this time.

Last year Great Sage was described to me as “the best vegan restaurant on the east coast.” Though my personal diet includes more than plant-based foods, I knew I had to give it a shot.

There’s a MoCo connection too! Aside from being 10 minutes away from Ashton, Great Sage is part of the Conscious Corner family of businesses that include Roots Market and Nest. Roots Market has a location in Olney.
