The Big Dill, which describes itself as the “#1 Pickle Party in the World”, returns to Power Plant Live! at 34 Market Pl in Baltimore on September 21. In past years the event has included pickle sampling, concerts, carnival games, a pickle eating contest, a brine chugging competition, and an appearance by “Dilly” the pickle.  Items available to purchase have included pickle flavored cupcakes, donuts, fudge, ice cream, and pizza.  (more…)


Howard County police released images today showing the suspected shooter from The Mall in Columbia on July 27. Detectives have been reviewing hundreds of hours of footage from the mall’s expansive camera system. Through this review, police say they have located images that may aid in identification though it is difficult to see much in the images and video.

Update: LA Knight has won the WWE’s United States Championship by defeating Logan Paul.

Before he was LA Knight, one of the hottest superstars in professional wrestling today, Shaun Ricker was a kid growing up in Hagerstown, Maryland. He graduated from North Hagerstown High School (class of 2000), where he was in the band and ran track, but always dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler. On Saturday night, he takes on WWE United States Champion Logan Paul in Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.


The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) obtained three animal cruelty charges against an officer assigned to the Canine Section. Corporal David Acosta is charged in connection with the mistreatment of a dog assigned to him, a two-year-old bloodhound named Daisy.
