Money Muscle BBQ, a new food truck and takeout operation based out of All Set Restaurant and Bar in Silver Spring, is now serving MoCo and Prince George’s County.

The Money Muscle truck is available for carryout and it currently parked outside of All Set on 8630 Fenton Street in Silver Spring and is expected to start making its rounds soon.


A few months back we let you know that Ulta would be moving from its current location at 914 Ellsworth Dr. to a new location on 8510 Fenton St. Lots of progress has been made at the new location on Fenton Street, as you can see in our photos. The new location is currently expected to be open on Tuesday, September 29th.

 


The Washington Business Journal reports that MOM’s Organic Market has signed a lease with Bozzuto Development Co. and Stonebridge to take over the previous Montgomery Planning headquarters in Silver Spring. It will be located on the ground floor of 8787 Georgia Ave. as part of the planned redevelopment of the Montgomery County government facility.

Per WBJ, “MOM’s will anchor the redevelopment of a government facility in Silver Spring into a mix of retail and residential space that’s been in the works for nearly six years.”


Urban Butcher has decided to “hit the pause button” according to a social media post made earlier today. The Downtown Silver Spring restaurant opened in 2013 and featured house-aged beef and craft charcuterie. When asked if this means the restaurant is permanently closing, Urban Butcher responded with “No, it means unfortunately we are closed for the time being, but we will keep you guys updated. Please keep supporting us by stopping by at El Sapo, where we have a wonderful outdoor space and delicious Mojitos. Thank you!”

Buena Vida in Silver Spring closing, TTT in its place

Mexican sit-down restaurant Buena Vida in downtown Silver Spring is closing. The restaurant will be taken over by Tacos, Tortas, and Tequilla, a fast-casual eatery located in the same building. Both restaurants are owned by Street Guys Hospitality.
