Back in January, Eighteen MCPS students were named recipients of full-tuition, four-year college scholarships from the Posse Foundation.

The Posse program identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential that may have been overlooked by traditional college selection processes.

Per MCPS: Loretta Woods, principal at Whetstone Elementary School in Gaithersburg, is this year’s winner of the Mark Mann Excellence and Harmony Award. The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services will be holding a free vaccination clinic today for MCPS students 12 and older from 12-7pm at Paint Branch High School (14121 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville)
