Montgomery County Public Schools released the following community message on Friday, March 8:
MCPS will host a Girls’ Summit on Saturday, March 9 at Northwood High School. This event for students and their caregivers will offer education, resources and activities centered around young women’s health. (more…)
Jonathan Henderson, an eighth grader at Robert Frost Middle School in Rockville, was recently accepted for an international orchestra summer camp and will perform at Carnegie Hall.
Montgomery County Public Schools released the following community message on Thursday, March 7:
MCPS employs more than 10,000 supporting services staff members who work in more than 450 job classifications supporting operations and instruction. This year, in collaboration with SEIU Local 500 and the Board of Education, up to three outstanding support professionals in each of the eight chapters are being recognized and awarded.
MCPS is recognizing National School Breakfast Week, March 4-8. “This week, we celebrate the nutritious breakfast served to students across MCPS, fueling them to learn each day.”
The Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) 2024-2025 Change of School Assignment (COSA) transfer season opened on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024. The COSA process allows families to submit a request for their children to transfer out of their assigned home school. All COSA request applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
