UPDATE for MCPS: Code Orange / Schools Closed – Offices Open 2 Hours Late and Eligible 11- and 12-Month Employees May Telework
Code Yellow / Delayed Opening – Schools and Central Offices Opening 2 hours Late Due to persistent icy conditions and significantly low temperatures, MCPS Schools and central offices will open two hours late on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Henry Franklin Fraley Jr., known as Hank Fraley, is currently the offensive line coach for the Detroit Lions. They defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the first round of the NFL Playoffs.
Browns Pro-Bowl guard guard Joel Bitonio was hurt early in the team’s playoff game against the Houston Texans, with MoCo’s very own Michael Dunn coming in to take over. Dunn is Bethesda native and 2012 graduate of Walt Whitman High School.
On Jan. 23, at 5:30pm, Montgomery County Public Schools in partnership with Asian American Health Initiative, Montgomery County Government (DHHS) will have a brief movie screening of the film, Silent Wars, followed by reflection from one of the individuals in the film, and a moderated panel discussion at Wootton High School.
