Located on the grounds of the Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg sits a piece of the past that refuses to fade away. Widely considered the last remaining full phone booth in Montgomery County, the glass-and-metal enclosure stands as a rare time capsule from an era before smartphones made pay phones nearly obsolete. A locally produced TV series recognized for its artistic impact is bringing its story to the big screen with a community-focused outdoor event in Kensington. “Deep End,” a Montgomery County-based indie series, will host an outdoor screening on Saturday, May 2 at 8pm at Clum-Kennedy Park. The event is free and open to the public.
