The Duvall Center in Gaithersburg, located at 211 N. Frederick Avenue, has been sold to a partnership for $5.75 million, according to a report by Maryland Newsletters.

Per MCPD: “Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Station have arrested 33-year-old Travis Jamal Isreal, of Gaithersburg, for stealing a vehicle and committing multiple burglaries, thefts and thefts from vehicles.
Gaithersburg-based DecisionPoint Corporation, located at 702 Russell Ave. #312, has hired Asya Smith as its Chief Operating Officer. Asya will lead corporate operations and ensure the execution of program delivery through her corporate vision and strategic scaling.
Tony Conte of Inferno Pizzeria Napoletana, located at 12207 Darnestown Rd. in Gaithersburg, has been nominated for a James Beard Award for best Chef in the Mid-Atlantic region (DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA).

Update: Police has stated “Watkins Mill High School is no longer on lockdown. The report was determined to be unfounded.” However, the school continued the lockdown following that communication.. An email went out to staff at 12:05 stating the school will move to a shelter-in-place with a closed lunch, and the announcement was made to the school at 12:19pm.
