Poke Bros has opened its first Maryland location in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood at at 107 Market St W, in the space that was previously home to Next Day Blinds. The restaurant is offering 1/2 off bowls all day today, Thursday, November 16. Poke Bros opened its first location in 2016 and has since expanded to over 75 restaurants across the country.

The first car and computer sale being held by students in the Montgomery County Students Automotive Trades Foundation (ATF) and Information Technology Foundation (ITF) will take place next month.
The program will sell used cars and computers that they have refurbished from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at Gaithersburg High School. The school is located at 101 Education Blvd. in Gaithersburg. The sale will be held in the auto bays (school entrance near Summit Avenue).
The City of Gaithersburg has earned a score of 100 points in the 2023 Municipal Equality Index, an initiative of the Human Rights Campaign that examines the inclusivity of laws, policies, and services with respect to the LGBTQ+ community.
The Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Valerie Castellanos Oliva, a missing 13-year-old from Gaithersburg. Oliva was last seen on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., in the 1200 block of Main Street in Gaithersburg. She is 5’2″, 145 Ibs., with brown hair and green eyes. (more…)

The LuminoCity Winter Lights Festival is coming to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds (501 Perry Pkwy) in Gaithersburg later this month.
