A while back, we let you know about the possibility of of a local coffee shop taking over the recently closed Starbucks location. Today, we learned that Java Nation will be taking over this spot.
The Montgomery Village Resource Center and Cross Community will be hosting a food distribution event this Thursday at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg from 1-2PM. Just drive up and open your trunk.

Not Your Average Joe’s in Bethesda Temporarily Closed
Not Your Average Joe’s announced today that they will be temporarily closing several of the chain’s restaurants, including the one located 10400 Old Georgetown Rd in Bethesda.
The Airport Cafe, located at 7940 Airpark Rd. in Gaithersburg has announced the restaurant has been sold.
On Monday, former owner Laura Kerwin wrote the following on the cafés Facebook page:
2020 has been a difficult year for restaurants. A few weeks ago we released a list of restaurants that have closed since March 17th.(not necessarily due to Covid, but since the day the initial restrictions were put in place).
While that list is long, there are still plenty of restaurants planning to open in MoCo in 2021.
