The winner will get 1 free burger per week for an entire year. You will be able to choose any of the menu burgers or the Burger of the week and can dine-in or carry-out! You’ll also get a free side of fries with your burger (substitutions may be upcharged)!
The free burgers are non-transferable, which means they can only be redeemed by the contest winner.
Okey Poke, a restaurant that will specialize in poke bowls, is coming to Gaithersburg.
The restaurant will be taking over the old Subway location that’s on 355 across from Burlington and the old Toys R Us.
We were just informed of two impending closures at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg.
Forever 21, the “fast fashion” retailer known for its trendy offerings and low pricing, filed for bankruptcy last month. At the time, the Lakeforest location was the only one of the four MoCo locations that was not listed as one of the stores expected to close.
Lil Cakes and Creamery is now open in Gaithersburg Square (488 N Frederick Ave.).
The dessert spot will offer 14 different flavor cupcakes and ice cream that’s made in store.
Patel Brothers is now open in Montgomery Village Plaza (18270 Contour Rd.), taking over the old Trader Joe’s space.

Mango Mango is now open in Downtown Crown (202 Ellington Blvd).
The Asian dessert spot opened its first restaurant in New York’s Chinatown in 2013. Mango Mango serves traditional Hong Kong style sweet soup dessert, modern fusion sweets, and pastries.
Three years ago UU Hotpot and Kebab Giles for permits to open a restaurant at the Spectrum Town Center in Gaithersburg. For various reasons, that didn’t work out.
A few months back Baltimore-based hotpot restaurant Hot Pot Hero took over the location and has made strides towards having the restaurant ready to open soon (no exact date yet, but I would expect it to open by the end of 2019, barring any unforeseen circumstances).
ViVi Bubble Tea, a New York Based bubble tea chain, will be opening soon in Montgomery Village Plaza (18236 Countour Rd).
They currently have over 30 locations nationwide, most being in New York. The closest ViVi Bubble Tea location is in Rockville and there was previously a planned location in the Spectrum Town Center in Gaithersburg, but those plans seem to have been cancelled.
