Brown announced that he and other state Attorneys General had reached a $350 million fifty-state settlement agreement with Publicis Health, LLC (“Publicis”), a division of the Paris-based global marketing conglomerate Publicis Groupe, S.A. , with Maryland receiving $7.2 million to use in its fight against the opioid crisis. Per Montgomery County: “Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has released the 2023 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), and the report shows that mental health is the most important health issue to residents and stakeholders surveyed.
