Okolo, 68, of Parkville, MD, to six months in jail after a jury convicted him of two counts of insurance fraud and one count of obstruction of justice related to misappropriating $36,500 from a client and fabricating evidence.

Earlier this week, the Starvin Marvin’s Pizzeria & Grille (6942 Crestwood Blvd.) shared an update on social media clarifying that the previously announced sale of the business is currently on hold. According to the owners, the deal is now “in limbo” due to circumstances beyond their control, but the Frederick store remains open and operating.

Ekiben is expanding beyond Baltimore for the first time, with a new Frederick location aiming for a March opening, according to Frederick City Media. The popular Asian fusion restaurant, co-founded by Quince Orchard High School graduate Steve Chu, will mark a major milestone for the brand as it continues its growth in Maryland.

On Thursday, Governor Wes Moore opened the new Concourse A/B Connector and Baggage Handling System at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, a $520 million project that will begin serving passengers and airlines tomorrow and is the largest capital improvement in the airport’s history.

A customer walking out of Health Pack Meals’ Kentlands storefront recently summed it up simply: “It’s like a healthy Chipotle.” That same sentiment has also been shared by readers who tipped off The MoCoShow about the rebrand. The off-the-cuff comparison is exactly what owners Lev and Suzie Meliksetyan hope people take away as they officially rebrand their brick-and-mortar restaurant to Culture Kitchen. For now, the exterior signage still reads “Health Pack Meals” as additional changes continue to roll out. A video of two of their bowls can be seen below.
