On July 15, 2025, a Frederick County Sheriff’s deputy arrested a Baltimore man during a traffic stop on Route 340 after a K9 unit detected narcotics and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 385 grams of suspected cocaine.
Eater DC recently unveiled its list of “The Best Bakeries Around D.C.,” featuring standout destinations for “extra-crusty levain, flaky croissants, brioche doughnuts, baklava, cupcakes, French baguettes, and everything in between.” Among the bakeries recognized, Fresh Baguette and Boulangerie Christophe, which have locations in Maryland, were highlighted.
