In response to a Heat Emergency Alert in effect through Monday morning, Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is providing free bottled water on Ride On buses. The effort aims to keep passengers safe and hydrated during dangerously high temperatures, with heat index values expected to reach 105 degrees or more.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will begin the Brink Road Bridge Project, which spans Seneca Creek, for resurfacing work beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, July 25. The project is scheduled to take four days to complete, weather and operational conditions permitting.

The Brink Rd. bridge is scheduled to close for repairs over Seneca Creek later this month, according to MCDOT. The closure is scheduled to start on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 6:00 am, and will take four  days to complete, weather and other operational requirements permitting. The bridge will be closed to all traffic during this project.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has initiated a comprehensive road repair project on Democracy Boulevard, stretching from I-270 to Seven Locks Road. The project, aimed at improving infrastructure for residents and motorists, will be executed in two phases and is expected to take approximately 10 to 12 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
