The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has a project to replace the Cattail Road Bridge No. M-0491. The existing bridge, constructed in 1975, is in poor condition. MCDOT is working proactively to replace the bridge before it becomes a safety hazard.
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is continuing its Sweep the Salt pilot program to remove excess road salt from streets near sensitive watershed areas, helping to prevent water contamination. MCDOT reported that the program collected nearly 50 tons of salt and debris following winter storms, and based on initial results, plans to continue the initiative next year.
