A woman and her boyfriend brutally killed her husband of 50 years in Takoma Park, MD in 2014. They were both convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2017, but the boyfriend’s conviction was reversed on appeal.
The State retried his case and on Thursday night– in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, before the honorable Judge David Boynton, a jury found Hussain Ali Zadeh guilty of second-degree murder for the death of Cecil Brown.

Gaithersburg, MD – Troopers from the Maryland State Police Crash Team are investigating a fatal collision involving Montgomery County Police Officer, Lieutenant Daniel John Friz that occurred early this morning on route I-70 in Lisbon.
On Monday, November 1 at approximately 12:13 a.m., Maryland State Police responded to I-70 in the area of Maryland Route 94 for the report of a serious collision.
Today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, before the honorable Judge Jeannie Cho, Lemae Matthews, 23, pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact to murder in the first degree in the death of her younger brother, Christian Matthews, in Silver Spring in 2017. She was released on a $10,000 unsecured personal bond under several conditions including home detention and 24 hour curfew.
Pursuant to a plea agreement, she faces up to ten years in prison when she is sentenced. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 4th 2022 at 1:30p.m.
Today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, before the Honorable Judge Sharon Burrell, a jury found D’Andre Wall guilty of attempted second-degree murder and guilty of use of a handgun in a violent crime.
These charges apply to Wall shooting at the male driver of a vehicle during a road rage incident on 8/8/2019 in Germantown, MD.
