Bethesda Home Invasion
Pedestrian Struck and Killed on University Blvd West in Wheaton
An adult male pedestrian was struck and killed early this morning on University Blvd. West near Georgia Avenue in Wheaton. Montgomery County Police report they received the 911 call around 3:58AM Tuesday.
Armed Robbery of Wheaton T-Mobile
Thursday evening shortly after 8PM, there was an armed robbery at the T-Mobile store at 2800 University Blvd. West in Wheaton.
Police Officer Attacked at Fallsgrove Chipotle
Around 6:45PM Thursday a Montgomery County Police Officer was at the Fallsgrove Village Center Chipotle on Shady Grove Road when he was physically attacked.
Montgomery County Police Toy Drive Going on Now Through December 17th
MCPD is working with the Uptown Consolidation HUB at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown for a holiday toy drive. They are collecting 2,000 toys and gift cards for Montgomery County families. Santa to Ride Motorcycle Through MoCo on December 9th
On Wednesday, December 9th starting at 3PM in Germantown, Santa Claus will be riding through Montgomery County on a Harley Davidson to raise funds for the Children’s Inn at NIH.
Investigation Discovery Episode about Missing MoCo Sisters Aired this Weekend
This past weekend, Investigation Discovery aired an episode sharing the story of the the Lyon sisters. The two sisters, Sheila (12) and Katherine (10) disappeared in 1975 during a trip to Wheaton Mall. The girls were never found.
