The Montgomery County Board of Elections is seeking workers for Primary Election Day on Tuesday, May 14 (paid positions).
Earlier today, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich released his recommended Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Operating Budget of $7.1 billion, an increase of 4.9 percent from the FY24. The Montgomery County teacher’s union, Montgomery County Education Association (MCEA), has issued a statement in response to the budget, expressing disappointment.
Council President Andrew Friedson released the following statement on Montgomery County’s Fiscal Year 2025 Recommended Operating Budget:
On Thursday, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich today released his recommended Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Operating Budget of $7.1 billion, an increase of 4.9 percent from the FY24.
On Tuesday, Montgomery County announced that $900,000 in grant funded was awarded to 136 County organizations to improve security and deter hate crimes. The funds will come through the County’s Nonprofit Security Grants program. (more…)
