Councilmember Natali Fani-González introduced Zoning Text Amendment 26-05, known as the Job Creation Project, aimed at attracting major employers, encouraging new job creation and supporting economic development in Montgomery County. The proposal would create an expedited development approval process for projects in strategic industries identified in the County’s Economic Development Strategic Plan or for projects expected to generate at least 200 jobs.
