Montgomery County Liquor Stores to Extend Hours
The Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services announced Thursday that they will be extending hours at 25 of their 26 stores starting April 1st.

Crown Fried Chicken: Homemade Waffle & Breakfast is coming to the 1900 block of Seminary Rd in Silver Spring. The restaurant’s address is listed as 1909 Seminary Rd, the same as the former location of Krazy Steve’s. A manager from Crown told us they are not taking over the Krazy Steve’s site but will be located on the opposite side of the center, though it appears that he may be incorrect.
Right now the restaurant is listed as opening on April 29th, but that all depends on when they receive their final permits and inspections from the county.
Little Island Kitchen Announces Tentative Opening Date
Little Island Kitchen, located at 10003 Stedwick Rd in Montgomery Village, has announced that they plan to open on 4.20.21.
Basketball Hoops Going Back Up in MoCo Parks
About a year ago, on March 24th, 2020, Montgomery Parks made the decision to remove basketball hoops from local parks due to many people ignoring instructions not to gather.
Double Murder Investigated in White Oak
Around 11:45PM Wednesday, the Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center received calls reporting sounds of gunshots and then shortly after calls for a confirmed shooting in the 1500 block of November Circle in White Oak.
