Montgomery County’s Department of Environmental Protection is inviting residents to repair, rather than replace, broken household items during a free Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Gaithersburg Library. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 18330 Montgomery Village Ave. and will pair participants with volunteer fixers who provide hands-on guidance for repairing everyday items. (more…)
