A 27-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision early Sunday morning. According to police, at approximately 1:51am, officers responded to the area of Fisher Avenue and Milford Mill Road for a report of a pedestrian who had been struck.

Montgomery County officials joined Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP) for the grand opening of The Chimes, a new 163-unit affordable apartment community near the North Bethesda Metro station.
The Montgomery County Council will hold public hearings at 1:30 p.m. on September 29, October 6 and October 13 on a range of proposed legislation and other County matters.
