Montgomery Parks has announced programming and operating hours for the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend, Thursday, November 28, through Sunday, December 1, 2024.
The annual Montgomery Parks’ “Garden of Lights,” a breathtaking outdoor winter light display at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, will open on Friday, Nov. 22. This year’s exhibit will feature more than 1.5 million twinkling LED lights (video preview below).
Montgomery Parks expands pickleball opportunities with the creation of six more dedicated pickleball courts at East Norbeck Local Park. A ribbon-cutting celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 6–8 p.m., to highlight the new courts and welcome night-time play under the lights. (more…)
