Montgomery Parks received $1.15 million in capital funding for four park projects from the state of Maryland during the 2024 legislative session. The funding will be used to renovate parks and playgrounds in legislative districts in Montgomery County.
On Wednesday, the Potomac Horse Center (PHC) at 14211 Quince Orchard Rd in North Potomac announced it will close on July 22. Later that day, residents put together a petition with hopes to save the center. (more…)
