The Takoma Park Police Department has received information that two residents (one who was targeted twice) have been contacted by phone by an unknown person purporting to be from Publishers Clearing House (PCH).
On April 9, 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM, Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) officers responded to an assault and theft at the 7-Eleven located at 13251 Atlantic Avenue in the Twinbrook Community of Rockville.
Takoma Park Police are investigating a contact shooting that occurred on Wednesday in the 6500 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Police shared that the incident is classified as a contact shooting, meaning the firearm discharged at close range and struck the victim.
