Pike Center, located on Rockville Pike and just south of Twinbrook Parkway, has been a popular shopping center in Rockville for decades. It’s home to longtime tenant and late 90s/early 2000s juggernaut TGI Friday’s and was previously home to popular restaurants Bagel City and CiCi’s Pizza and the now-shuttered home accessories chain Pier 1 imports. After a little time staying relatively dormant, there has been some action at the Kimco development. Though not much has changed since our last update, below you’ll see a list of what’s new and what’s coming soon to the shopping center.

Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Montgomery County’s largest and longest-serving healthcare system, has received a $1 million gift from the Lee Family of Potomac. This substantial contribution will support completion of a six-story patient tower under construction at the hospital.
