Sir Walter Raleigh Inn is fondly remembered as an affordable steakhouse known for its extensive salad bar, making it a popular spot for homecoming dinners and birthday celebrations. An Ocean City restaurant has been named one of the top pasta spots in the country in a new Yelp ranking. Cheese Wheel Pasta, located in Ocean City, MD, ranked No. 51 on Yelp’s inaugural list of the Top 100 Pasta Places in the U.S., released October 6. It was the only Maryland restaurant to make the list.

A new Mediterranean and Persian restaurant, Silk Route, is in the works at 4839 Del Ray Ave. in downtown Bethesda, the former home of longtime Mexican restaurant Tia Queta. A permit was recently issued for a $500,000 renovation of the space.
