They’ll be taking over part of the old Last Mango, Zodiac Grill, Tony and James, 44 Sports Bar and Grill, and most recently Largent’s Restaurant and Bar location (654 Center Point Way).

Thompson Hospitality, the restaurant group that owns Matchbox (as well as American Tap Room), decided to close their Silver Spring Hen Quarter location this past October. That Matchbox location is expected to next month.
Pizzas are hand-cooked in just minutes and salads are individually hand-tossed for each customer. The menu is rounded out with MOD’s signature Cheesy Garlic Bread, “No Name Cake”, handspun milkshakes, house-made lemonades and iced teas, and local craft beers and wine.
MOD’s 3,134 square-foot store will be located at 12021 Rockville Pike in Rockville, joining Cava, Slapfish, HoneyGrow and Five Guys in the new Montrose pad site.
Hooters closed following the death of Montgomery County police officer, Noah Leotta. Officer Leotta was killed by Luis Gustavo Reluzco, a man who admitted he drank heavily at Hooters before leaving and striking Leotta as the officer was conducting a traffic stop on December 3rd, 2015.

They’ll be taking over the old O’Leary’s and 555 Lounge location at 555 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg.
The restaurant is expected to open on WEDNESDAY, December 12th.
The national chain was started by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz in 1997 and offers specialized bundt cakes in over 175 locations across North America.
This will be their second location in MoCo, joining the Gaithersburg location (12133 Darnestown Rd).
