Armand’s has officially served its last slice in Rockville. The longtime pizzeria closed its doors for the final time on Saturday, June 20, ending more than five decades of serving Montgomery County residents and visitors. With the closure of the Rockville restaurant, the only remaining Armand’s location is Armand’s Bistro & Pizza in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
Koala Kreme officially celebrated its grand opening Saturday at The Square at Rockville, drawing a large crowd of customers eager to sample the shop’s frozen treats and see the newest addition to the The Square in Rockville (video below).

There is a line out the door and down the block Friday at Armand’s Pizzeria & Grille in Rockville as customers gathered for one last meal before the longtime restaurant closes permanently.
Pho Nom Nom’s highly anticipated third Montgomery County location is now targeting an opening later this summer, according to a representative of the restaurant’s longtime Rockville location.
Just days before its final slice is served, Armand’s Pizzeria & Grille in Rockville is participating in an upcoming auction giving restaurant owners, entrepreneurs, and collectors the opportunity to purchase equipment and memorabilia from the longtime local institution.
Construction is moving rapidly at the former Party City space in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood, where permanent signage has now been installed for Wonder.
Construction may be underway at the Glenwood Shopping Center in Wheaton (12134 Georgia Ave.), but Trippy Tacos and its neighboring businesses are still open for customers. The shopping center is home to Trippy Tacos, Dunkin’, Seafood in the Buff, and Maria’s Hair Salon and continue to operate as renovations move forward.
Taco Bamba has announced plans to open a new location later this year at 4905 Fairmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda.
