The “modern seafood shack” is a fast casual restaurant with locations primarily on the west coast and Southwestern United States. It has been called “the Chipotle of Seafood.”

The Rockville location will be their first on the east coast and will be joining Cava and Honeygrow at Montrose Crossing. These very strong fast casual restaurants will quickly help us forget about Timpano Italian Chophouse, the restaurant that was demolished to make way for the current structure that is home to the fast-casual eateries.

The original plan was for there to be a slight overlap and for both locations to be open simultaneously for a week or two, but construction hit a snag at the new location and we’ve been left Yoyogi-less for a few weeks.

The wait is almost over, as Yoyogi has announced a soft opening for Tuesday, June 19th (11am-3pm) and their grand opening on Wednesday, June 20th.

The D.C. Metro area includes stores up to Germantown (this includes the Germantown location), but does not include Frederick locations. Baltimore and Annapolis area Chick-Fil-A locations will not be participating in this promotion.

What’s the catch? You must wear some sort of Washington Capitals gear (hat, jersey, mask, socks, etc.).
