Sixty Vines, the restaurant brand known for its wine-on-tap system and vineyard-inspired dining, will officially open its first Maryland location on Monday, October 13th at 212 Ellington Boulevard in Downtown Crown, Gaithersburg (sneak peek video below). The restaurant will be located in the space previously occupied by Old Town Pour House.
Commas Food Hall, which opened last month on Level 3 of Ellsworth Place in Silver Spring, will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday, September 27 from 11am-9pm and Sunday, September 28 from 12-6pm.. The 13,000-square-foot space features 10 food and beverage vendors offering global cuisines, with two stalls still available for future operators. Marathon Deli, a College Park institution beloved for its authentic Greek food and deli classics, is one step closer to expanding into Montgomery County. A representative from the College Park location shared that the restaurant hopes to open in about three weeks, likely in October.
Chick-fil-A’s only Little Blue Menu location has officially reopened in College Park, MD. Located at 7242 Baltimore Avenue, the restaurant is now open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 10 pm, offering both dine-in and carry-out options, as well as delivery and limited curbside pickup.
A new spot for authentic Nepali cuisine has officially arrived in Rockville. Royal Durbar is now open daily from 11:30am–9:00pm. The restaurant has taken over the space that was most recently home to Damso Korean BBQ at 1319 Rockville Pike in the Woodmont Station shopping center. The space was previously occupied by Saffron Indian Cuisine.
Seven & i Holdings, the parent company of 7-Eleven, has announced a sweeping transformation plan for its global convenience store network, a move that could have a major impact in Montgomery County, where there are more than 60 7-Eleven locations.
Frederick County is getting its first Raising Cane’s, which marks yet another step towards a potential Montgomery County location. Site plans confirm that the Applebee’s at 5613 Spectrum Drive, near the Francis Scott Key Mall, will be demolished to make way for a new 3,300 SF Raising Cane’s with a drive-thru, according to Frederick City Media.
