A house fire in Kensington/Silver Spring resulted in significant damage Sunday night, displacing two adults and their pet. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded promptly to the incident.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) were dispatched around 6:16 a.m. to the Shell gas station at 7620 Lindbergh Drive in Gaithersburg for a reported vehicle fire.

A multi-vehicle crash on I-495 Southbound Outer Loop at the American Legion Bridge led to significant traffic disruptions early this morning, according to updates from the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination (MATOC).

On Sunday evening, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office announced that Catherine Ashley Hoggle, 38, of Clarksburg, had been indicted by a Montgomery County Grand Jury on two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of her children, Sarah and Jacob Hoggle.
