Earlier this year we let you know that TOUS les JOURS, a French-Asian bakery will be taking over the space currently occupied by Corner Bakery in Rio. Corner Bakery’s last day of business in Rio was Thursday, February 22nd. Exterior construction has begun and it has included the removal of the clock that was part of the Corner Bakery decor for more than 25 years.

Permanent signage is up at Han Spot, the new dim sum restaurant that’s coming to the space that was previously home to Union Jack’s until June 2020 (9811 Washingtonian Blvd).
Dave & Buster’s officially opened its Rio location at 9811 Washingtonian Blvd in Gaithersburg in July 2019. The restaurant/entertainment center has just celebrated five years and will be getting approximately $700K in upgrades/renovations.
Han Spot, the new dim sum restaurant that’s coming to the space that was previously home to Union Jack’s until June 2020 (9811 Washingtonian Blvd), is now hiring ahead of it’s anticipated opening in the coming months (date unknown).
