Permanent signage is up at Han Spot, the new dim sum restaurant that’s coming to the space that was previously home to Union Jack’s until June 2020 (9811 Washingtonian Blvd).
Dave & Buster’s officially opened its Rio location at 9811 Washingtonian Blvd in Gaithersburg in July 2019. The restaurant/entertainment center has just celebrated five years and will be getting approximately $700K in upgrades/renovations.
Han Spot, the new dim sum restaurant that’s coming to the space that was previously home to Union Jack’s until June 2020 (9811 Washingtonian Blvd), is now hiring ahead of it’s anticipated opening in the coming months (date unknown).
On Friday, June 14th, FOX 5 will bring its Zip Trip to Montgomery County for the only time this season as they make it over to the Rio Lakefront boardwalk behind Silver Diner at 9811 Washingtonian Blvd Suite l-10, Gaithersburg, MD.

‘Lakefront Live’ returns to Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg on Friday, May 10th and continues through August 30th.
Locally Crafted will reopen at its new location (9 Grand Corner Ave.) in Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront on Wednesday, May 1st. The store closed its previous storefront on December 24th, 2023. The new location has taken over the space that was recently home to Francesca’s.
Bach to Rock has announced opening information for its upcoming location at 112 Market St., next to Vine Alley in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands.
