After a few unexpected delays, Little Miner Taco will open at 5pm on Wednesday, July 24th at 39 Maryland Ave Ste A in Rockville Town Square. The upcoming opening was communicated to us by a Rockville Town Square representative.

With plenty of moves being made in Rockville Town Square and the area immediately surrounding it, we spoke with the owner of a business that recently opened in the development who shared why he believes things are already starting to turn around.
Rockville Town Square is hosting free concerts on most Friday nights from 6-9pm, continuing through September 20. The next performance will feature the pop rock band Liquid A on July 12. Full schedule below courtesy Montgomery County: (more…)

Last October we let you know that Kusshi Sushi officially signed on to take over the space that was home to popular sushi restaurant Sushi Damo at 36G Maryland Ave in Rockville Town Square for over 15 years. According to co-owner Wesley Yao, the restaurant is aiming for an early July opening.
Dirty Dough is coming to 36B Maryland Ave in Rockville Town Square. The cookie shop will be taking over the location that was the longtime home of Berry Cup, next to the vacant space that’s wrapped in HalfSmoke signage (presumably no longer coming to Rockville Town Square). Berry Cup Closed in the summer of 2022.

According to a listing by Urban Edge Properties, Chef Wang’s Kitchen is coming to 199 E Montgomery Ave in Rockville, the former location of California Tortilla. California Kitchen closed its Rockville location on February 1, 2024 after 25 years in business. The restaurant will offer “new Sichuan cuisine.” We will provide an update when we learn additional information about Chef Wang’s. Photo courtesy Google Maps.
Ekó House, located at 150 Gibbs St. in Rockville Town Square, will be closing on Sunday, January 14th. The restaurant took over the space that was previously home to Bar Louie and has been open for approximately two years. Per their statement, shared via the restaurant’s social media, they will be looking for a new space to continue operating. Full statement below:
