Sydney’s Burger located inside of Wheaton Mall has announced it will be holding its grand opening on October 29. The menu features hamburgers, turkey burgers, salmon burgers, wings, breakfast items, and quesadillas.
A representative from the restaurant said the delay in opening has been due to the long wait for equipment to arrive. The location is currently hiring for all positions. Take a look at their menu and the interior of the restaurant below.

The Jolly Show Carnival is back at the Westfield Wheaton Mall parking lot at 11160 Veirs Mill Rd. in Wheaton.
The Carnival will run from September 22 through October 3, Monday though Friday 5p-10p, Saturday 1-11pm, and Sunday 3-11pm.

Yesterday we reported that Kobe Japan Hibachi And Sushi is coming to the Hampshire-Langley Shopping Center at 1163 University Blvd E in Takoma Park, according to the restaurants website. Today we can confirm that Kobe Japan is also coming to the newly redeveloped Montgomery Village Shopping Center.
According to the sitemap on the klnb Commercial Real Estate website, Kobe Japan will be located next to Moe’s SouthwestGrill in the shopping center.

Westfield Wheaton tells us that they’ve been working with the Urban District to create an outdoor seating area called the “Wheaton Streetery” to not only support the food tenants at the mall, but also to serve as a gathering place for the neighboring communities.
Local Couple Celebrates at Jollibee
Westfield Wheaton posted photos and videos today of two local frontline nurses celebrating this weekend at the new Jollibee location at 2800 University Blvd W, Unit C. The young couple was unable to celebrate their wedding as planned last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
