Commas Food Hall, a new 13,000-square-foot venue located on the third level of Ellsworth Place (8661 Colesville Rd) in Downtown Silver Spring, is currently in a “super soft” opening phase. Robert E. Peary High School was located at 13300 Arctic Ave. in Aspen Hill, MD. It opened in the 1960 and closed in 1984 primarily due to declining enrollment. A Facebook group with over 4,000 members keeps its memories alive.
Purple Line crews have begun installing light rail tracks, reconstructing sidewalks and completing stormwater drainage and utility crossings across the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Fenton Street. This work will require a temporary full closure of the Wayne Avenue and Fenton Street intersection to vehicular traffic.
