Montgomery Parks and the Montgomery Parks Foundation have announced the commission of a mural for the park activity building at Glenmont Local Park (3201 Randolph Road) in Wheaton-Glenmont. Montgomery County Police (MD) 4th District-Wheaton-Glenmont announced that four individuals were arrested on Thursday, August 1, after a police stop in Aspen Hill.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded to the scene of a collision involving a driver striking a 13-year-old juvenile on Randolph Rd. and Dalewood Dr., near Wheaton High School, on Tuesday night.
Last October we let you know Dunkin’ will be taking over the space that was previously home to $2.49 Cleaners, at 12196 Georgia Ave. in Wheaton-Glenmont, on the same block as Trippy Tacos and Seafood in the Buff and near Popeyes. Now we know that a $500K permit has been granted for construction to begin on the space, per Maryland Newsletters.

It has been more than three years since we let you know that Sake Japanese Steak House is coming to the former location of Bar Louie at Wheaton Mall (11006 Veirs Mill Rd in Wheaton). The restaurant is now in its soft opening phase and taking reservations.
