Rose Garden will be closed beginning in April and reopen in early May in time for blooming season.
Montgomery Parks is renovating the rose garden at Brookside Gardens beginning April 2024 to provide a series of environmental improvements. The rose garden will be closed until early May so that staff can install more diverse and ecologically friendly plantings, improve the soil, and install an irrigation system.
Montgomery Parks wants to know what thrills you as the department begins designing a new one-of-a-kind action sports park at the Rubini Athletic Complex in Wheaton Regional Park. Two design concepts will be shared at the virtual community meeting on Wednesday, April 3, 7-8:30 p.m.
Jersey Mike’s, which has eight locations in Montgomery County, will be donating 100% of their sales nationwide to charity on Wednesday, March 27th. The promotion is a part of Jersey Mike’s “Month of Giving” and sales are expected to be over $20 million for the day. (more…)
