Alert Montgomery sent out a ‘Severe Traffic Alert’ at 11:45am for a traffic incident that blocks all lanes on Outer Loop I-495 past Exit 30 (Colesville Rd). Per Alert Montgomery, “Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.”

According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, one person was trapped and extricated from a passenger car by emergency responders and was transported with Priority 2 trauma. Some lanes remain blocked as of 4pm.
