I’m told the purchase will not include any of the pad sites (department stores), so options regarding changes may be limited.

I’m told by a St. Elizabeth’s parent that an e-mail was sent out by the school explaining that they would close on Wednesday, but ended up closing due to inclement weather instead. The school remained closed today.

I reached out to the school, but was unable to get through to anybody. No word on if the school will remain closed tomorrow.

Stein majored in economics at Columbia University’s Columbia College and graduated with honors before graduating as valedictorian from Yale Law School.

After a stint as a lawyer in Connecticut and Washington D.C., Stein became a college professor at American University, Cal, and Pepperdine.

He first played in the NHL with the Caps in 1999, when he became the first D.C. area player to ever play for the Caps.

To my knowledge, there are currently three drive-thru Starbucks locations in MoCo (Gaithersburg, Kensington, and Burtonsville). I recently spoke with a reliable source that told me there may be another one coming in 2019.

The Kentlands Starbucks recently renewed their lease for one more year, running through 2018. Soon after they signed their new lease they found out the new drive-thru location between Chipotle and Mattress Firm (in the Kentlands) was not approved.

In their list they wrote that they included parts of Potomac, Darnestown, and Travilah along with Rockville, which certainly increases the median household income and housing prices (listed at $198,651 and $900,00).

Nearby Fairfax Station (17) and Great Falls (8) in Virginia were also on the list.

I first tried Mi La Cay when I spent “An Afternoon in Wheaton” a couple months back (www.mocoshow.com/blog/an-afternoon-in-wheaton). I went back again a couple weeks back because I really enjoyed myself the first time.

I started with the roasted quail, which was cooked just right and served with a very tasty sauce that contained salt and pepper in it.

Home to U.S. News and World Report’s second best high school in the state of Maryland (Wootton High School), Rockville was named the best place to live in the state of Maryland by Time Magazine’s Money.com

Touting low unemployment and crime rates along with amenities and proximity to city parks, Money also mentions the 50+ restaurants and shops in Rockville Town Square.

Their rankings are based on average gas prices, rush-hour traffic congestion, road quality, and more.

While none of these lists should be taken as gospel, it’s always interesting to see what goes into making them and where Maryland ranks on them.
