A couple weeks ago we let you know that Mission BBQ would be opening it’s Germantown location this Monday, January 27th.
4 year old Aiden George earned a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition for finding help for his mother when she was in medical distress.
When Aiden George’s mom experienced a medical emergency that left her unconscious in a school parking lot, the little boy began to walk down Thunderhead Way in Germantown.
Back in November 2018 we broke the news of Mission BBQ taking over the old Ruby Tuesday location in Germantown (19800 Century Blvd).
Last month they announced the official opening date…Monday, January 13th, 2020, but that was pushed back.
Topgolf Germantown has “soft” opened today!
The entertainment and event venue in Germantown (20101 Century Blvd) consists of a fun point-scoring golf game for all skill levels, a full restaurant and full bar, music, and more.
A couple days ago we let you know about the restaurant taking over the old Agrodolce spot in the Milestone Center in Germantown (21030 Frederick Rd Suite J).
Recently we discovered that the restaurant will be owned and operated by the folks who have brought you Taco Bar (in the gas station in Rio) and Ixtapalapa in Gaithersburg!

Mezeh Mediterranean Grill is Coming to Germantown.
UPDATE (12/2): Construction has started, but no opening date yet.
La Gula Mexicana is coming to the Milestone Center in Germantown.
The Mexican restaurant will be taking over the location that was home to the beloved Agrodolce (21030 Frederick Rd Suite J).
UPDATE: Due to Covid, the reopening has been delayed. No new date currently, but renovations have already started.
Back in 2017 a local pastry chef attempted to raise money to bring back The Cider Barrel. Her efforts fell short and the barrel remained unusual on the side of 355.
UPDATE: Due to unforeseen issues, the opening has been delayed from the previously reported date of January 13th. No updated date yet.
